Is Suicide Unforgivable Sin? By Brett Keane

Suicide is always a tragedy
Suicide is always a tragedy—but in itself it is not the unpardonable sin. The only sin God cannot pardon is the sin of rejecting Him. God knows your heart, and He also knows that mental illness sometimes clouds a person’s judgment so much that they aren’t fully responsible for their actions.

At the same time, ask God to help you be sensitive to the needs of others—especially someone who may be facing discouragement or depression. Often simply knowing that someone cares will help them turn the corner.
Suicide Unforgivable Sin
The bible teaches us that Samson had great strength. However he disobeyed God and lost everything. In the end his enemies tied him to pillars and laughed at his mutilated body. They threw a party inside their temple about the great suffering they put on a man of God. There was no escape and his body was ruined. Samson cried out to God. "Please God give the strength to pull these pillars down on my enemies and myself". God gave him the power and Samson ended himself and the nonbelievers who took pleasure in his pain.
Christ said no man takes my life...I give it freely. Christ could have easily destroyed all of humanity in a blink of an eye but allowed himself to be tormented and killed by his own children. Those closest to him denied him and betrayed him. God knows what it's like to be alone. Spit on. Mocked. Laughed at while he groaned in agony. God knows what it feels like to ask himself...is it all worth it? He knows what it's like to want love yet loves us so much he will allow us to hate him.

So does God understand? Does he know what it's like to have a hard time breathing? Be paralyzed and nailed down until you're dead? Be without food and water while baking in the sun with flies sitting on your flesh? Wondering if anything matters. Have I been forsaken.

Knowing it doesn't have to be this way...

If this wasn't enough to convince you then let me simplify it. God loves you. God knows when your time is up before you were even born. Just remember he doesn't plan to leave you hanging and bleeding. When you see him he will share with you why your life means so much.

P.S. Life is a roller coaster ride. It has it's ups and downs. You might as well ride to the finish. God bless.

John 10:18New International Version (NIV)18 No one takes it from me, but I lay it down of my own accord. I have authority to lay it down and authority to take it up again. This command I received from my Father.”

Any support you can give would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.
